Off in the fields, gathering...

Not much of the weekend has registered in my brain. There doesn't seem to be that much to write about at the moment, but then again, I've been known to start with nothing in my head and ending up with a full-blown rant at the end of the entry.

Being paying off my sleep debt, and the world seems a bit better for it. Lethargy has set in, and I've let some things slide. Looking on the bright side, I've done quite a few things that I've been intending to do for a very long time, and that's always good.

Put up some magazines on sale on eBay. At the moment no one seems to be biting - not as many geeky people as I thought out there. On the other hand, they are at least a year old, and the cover CDs are mainly demo/probably outdated software, too.

I did get a nibble on the Kodak digicam, though. If no one bites, I'll just keep relisting until I figure it's easier to just donate the whole she-bang to the Salesians. Some things can be easier to give away, rather than go through the trouble of selling. After all, I gave the electronic keyboard away, and the room felt a whole lot better for it instantly.

Or, I could save up enough stuff to participate in the Village yard sale, even if Php 500 for a table seems to be a ridiculous amount of money to pay out. ::shrug::

Ryrie-chan called up all excited, with good news, thank heavens! Seems like a co-worker was complaining that a certain ad by Globe was a fake, because the co-worker was only qualified for a cash reward or something. So Ryrie-chan tried it and discovered that *she* was qualified for a new Nokia N95 and a Sony Ericsson mobile phone! The benefits of multiple lines can be very rewarding, especially when one stumbles across them by chance. ::grin::

For once I remembered to ask Ryrie for financial advice. Am looking for a place to stash part of my little nest egg, and she was kind enough to share how hers is being looked after. Hopefully this will have good results.

Ramon and I wanted to drop into Galleria last Sunday, for a change. BIG mistake, trying to get to Galleria on the Sunday of a payday weekend. Though what we saw of the exterior looks promising, there was no room in the parking lot. So we'll just have to pick a weekday for exploring the place.

We did rediscover the joys of eating at Triple V at the Megamall bridgeway. (Well, where else could we go, since we were already in the area?) For Php 500 bucks, we got a pretty sizeable meal, which also happened to taste good. I popped into Watson's while Ramon toured the various real estate displays; and then he got to read through all the brochures while I had a head and back massage at the Holistic Centre. From there, we popped into Rustan's Santuario, then home to nap and sort through stuff.

Tomorrow, my must-do list is composed of three things:
- deposit the coins I've saved
- go to the gym to work out
- organize the loose papers and receipts in my filing tray

Actually, the third item could be broken up into two, but...the chances of it getting done if I consider them as two sub-tasks of the same to-do are greater.

Time to sign off now. My thoughts are taking a circular turn, and that's a sign it's time to go to bed.
