Jul. 19th, 2016 08:10 amRizzo and Ricci have learned that wet food is more fun than kitten kibble by Friskies. Will try the Royal Canin kitten kibble and see how that works 😋😋😋 want to bet that they will love it?
Meantime, dollops of adult wet food will have to do. Rizzo developed a sudden fever about three days ago, and looked utterly miserable. Of course, I had no antibiotics handy, so I just gave him vitamins. Plus, access to the vet is flooded, thanks to that idiot contractor who has also pissed off the city government of Mandaluyong. (The diggings seriously hamper access to the city hall, the city jail, the police department headquarters, and the parish church that is also a national shrine. Pissed does not even begin to describe...)
Anyway, thanks be to God, relevant saints (Anthony and Francis), and the blessed Virgin, Rizzo made it through his fever and is now as full of beans as any mother could want. 🤗🤗🤗
Not to be outdone, Ricci also developed a mild fever. One day on vitamin syrup every four hours, and now he's romping merrily with his brother. Eating well, the pair of them.
They know how to use the litter pan, so was able to remove their protective underpads and just leave newspaper under the pan and their dishes.
The new litter pans I got for the older cats are working well. After a long and thorough inspection, they started using the pans, which is diminishing the amount of litter scattered around to an amazing degree.
So...my house is settled for the morning. Cats have been fed, kittens had their vitamins. Ina Garten is on my tv, and I have had my cereal and morning coffee and my meds. I'm all set.
