Went out today to pick up my new Healthy Options card at Greenbelt. Browsed through their tea selections, then popped into the Fully Booked across the hall. It is a mini Mecca for very serious artists; their selection of canvases, papers, and paints is impressively expensive. I'll take National and its array of coloring supplies, in addition to all of the above, and its selection of books. Got a book about Jane Seymour, the only one of Henry VIII's wives to give him a son.

Passed by the ATM, then National, where I looked around at all the things. I don't know, but some days it seems like bookstores sell more supplies than books now, and that's sad.

Then off to Mercury, which was my raison d'etre for being in Greenbelt at all. Got another insulin pen and Dad's iron supplements. Rambled through Astrovision...they have a buy two take one offer on Game of Thrones box sets. They had seasons two through six. I'll stick to the books.

Then I decided to have merienda at California Pizza Hut, photographic evidence of which was posted in Facebook.

Then home to my kitties. The youngest are already firm in their preference for wet over dry food. I cannot wait for the waters of Maysilo Circle to recede so they can get their checkup. A pox on the contractor, but not until he finishes that thing!

I may have forgotten to take my pills, apparently. Fortunately, I have my insulin, and tomorrow is another day.
