Aug. 30th, 2012 09:50 pm*settles down after pre-bedtime shower*
Am tired, but at least it's a satisfied kind of tired. Had a busy day that started early.
1) Ramon had his fasting blood sugar test today. We hope the results will be good. On the way to the hospital, stopped by the bank to get the Cartimar budget.
2) Breakfast at Andok's, on account of having to go to the WOMFI office to pre-sign checks and an affidavit. Was good – though I think we forgot the newspaper there. :p
3) WOMFI office – pre-signed checks and the affidavit I fixed up this morning. Yes, I managed to edit the document before we left for the Makati Med path labs, go me.
4) Cartimar. Discovered that suki was out of stock of Aristocat, so I bought the SmartHeart cans instead. Told them that there were actually four flavors available in cans, as per website. Maybe they'll be able to persuade the supplier that there is a market for the stuff, which translates into me getting those other flavors. One can dream, after all.
5) Lunch at Mann Yann at the Link. Been a very long time since we've been to the Landmark side of Glorietta, and it's changed some. At Mann Yann we ordered fried noodles with mixed meat, kangkong with garlic, and fried wonton. Yummy!
6) Landmark. They've added three more floors – one is the expanded home furnishings section (which was actually growing too big for the space it used to occupy), the other two are stockrooms. Via Mare has been moved to the side of the building overlooking the new hotel that's going up. Went down and bought stuff at French Baker and Red Ribbon. Pity we couldn't stay longer, but I had to go to the bank.
7) BPI Pasong Tamo. Transferred a proper sum to cover the bills and miscellaneous expenses. The new machine that deposits your money real time, works best if you feed it in installments rather than one big lump sum. So tomorrow I can work on paying bills. The ones for PLDT and SMART have already arrived and been paid; tomorrow it's Skycable and Skybroadband. Then there's some of the charges against the credit card.
8) Back home – Patpat is better, but Biscuit is the next one down with the cold; Buchi and Pixel are also sneezing. Poor sweets. All were medicated and cuddled and those who could, ate. Qbie and Pebbles both checked in, and were fed.
9) Got one last WOMFI assignment, to edit a letter to be submitted tomorrow. Slept through the text telling me about it, but fortunately, the letter didn't need that much work. Sent it back forthwith, with corrections.
And that was my day, pretty much. Now for some sleep. My eyes are shutting.
