Whoosh! Typing this entry out on the Tabbie, which only confirms my suspicion that I need a bigger tablet, Wi-Fi only, for home use. Using the ElJay app that I re-downloaded because it can now talk to Dreamwidth. *happy flail*
The general maid is on her day off, to return late this afternoon. The gardener has arrived. Cats have been fed without fuss; that is to say, even though Qbie and Paddy saw each other, an outbreak of hostilities was averted. Oh the drama of it all!
In short, a typical Thursday chez moi. Have showered and a cup of instant Kopiccino is at the ready. Missed a lot in the LJ world; even on Twitter I haven't been all that active. Life has been busy, and fairly productive. Tiring, definitely - I find myself sleepy at 10.30pm these days.
I do manage morning naps after the "rush hour" of feeding the cats and setting up the kitchen. Recently there have been short afternoon naps with electric fans at full blast, because our summer temps are broiler quality.
I miss journaling. But hopefully I've found the pocket of time for posting entries. It's been a season of maintenance, really. The general maid has set The house to rights with a vengeance, and the cats hardly know where to put their feet as a result. The kitchen maid is feeding us well, and her resource management skills have taken a load off my shoulders. Have consolidated online accounts and cleaned up the various hard drives. So far, so good.
OK. My Bakery Story alarm went off. Time to stop writing and get sucked into a black hole in time.
