Event of the Day: Down time, if I remember correctly, having had a busy time of it the day before. Did quite a bit of offline work, mostly filing and getting to know my Tabbie better. I think I slept quite a bit as well.

Event of the Day: Ramon's pre-checkup blood extraction, for which we woke up at oh-my-thirty in the morning. Fasting blood sugar, it gives me headaches and hunger. Spent quite a bit of time on the Tabbie, using wifi to access the internet from bed. Another marathon nap, and a cleanup of all the links that I bookmarked to share/spam on my feeds. (Do try and watch the Kittens in Pots video, and then tell me if that doesn't melt your cold cold heart.)

Event of the Day: Brought the Avanza to the Toyota Pasong Tamo service center for its 10K km service appointment. Had to be there by 7.30am, which meant waking up early *moan* again; be sure we are thankful we live literally ten minutes away from the service center! Renovation work is going on at the ground floor, am wondering how they are going to reconfigure the area. Took a look at the showroom model of the RAV4 and was duly impressed by the number of buttons on the dashboard. *chuckle*

Ordered a new lock set while I was in the vicinity of the Parts Department, and will have to schedule another service appointment to get them installed. Given the look of my upcoming week, that will have to be on Friday.

Went home using the Innova, which Ramon used to follow me to the service center. Had time to catch my breath, freshen up, and get Ma moving towards our salon appointment. Ramon stayed home to catch up on sleep, Dad came along for the ride. The salon people were very happy to see us again, and I was in heaven while I finally got the head massage of my dreams, via the hair spa treatment. Emily works absolute magic. Jocelyn was kept busy giving first Ma, then myself, the foot spa with pedicure treatment; I am now possessed of a pair of decent feet.

Lunch was at Italianni's. Dad went into "Cowboys and Aliens" while we were at the salon, but he didn't finish the movie. Went home, had The Nap of Ages (TM), woke up with barely enough time to check that the Avanza was ready for pickup. Ramon drove me down in the Innova, then I sent him home - no use in letting him wait for me at the service center when he could do that just as well at home. Paid for the servicing, picked up the new lockset, picked up the Avanza and got home to a nice dinner.

Did some more bonding with my Tabbie. Discovering functions I never realized were there, and having light bulb moments every five minutes. Now to tweak my netbook settings a wee bit more, to improve readability. Am not sure why a 10in screen should be harder to read than a 7in screen, but I'll get there.

Event of the Day: So, I have apparently been on the go since Friday? No wonder I have been feeling like a dizzy Miss Lizzie...

Grocery and Prescriptions Day. Stopped at Santuario to get money and Ramon's prescriptions (the ones that don't have generic alternatives). Brunch at Luk Yuen. To give you an idea of how Ramon manages his diet when we eat out, it's a simple solution. We order one item that we know is good for two, and have the waiter split the order. He gets some, I get some, and we just add side dishes to even things up. In this particular instance, we split the beef wanton mami (mami=noodle soup), an order of siopao, and an order of siomai. Came out rather well.

Got Ramon's generic meds. My regular supplier is still getting no love from the Kitty's Crumble people, so I'm skipping them in favor of Pet Express and Animal House. Got myself a 60min foot massage at the blind massage place, and my feet were like brand-new afterward. Early afternoon tea at Jollibee, where Ramon joined me. Then off to do the groceries, during which time the mother of all thunderstorms broke. Was one heck of a sound show, it was. By the time we were done and ready to hit Pet Express, Buendia/South Superhighway intersection was underwater.

Still, got to Pet Express without any trouble. The very end of the parking lot was clear of water, but getting there, I could hear the water swishing under the floorboards of the car. *wrinkles nose* No Kitty's Crumble there, but have made a note to order some by this Saturday. Instead, loaded up on Alley Cat and Meow Mix kibble, as an alternate to the Whiskas I generally get.

Got home, presented Ma with Red Ribbon goodies, supervised the stowing of the groceries, helped Ramon feed the cats, cleaned litter pans, and generally it was life as usual.

Event of the Day: Ramon's monthly heart check-up, in which he was pronounced fit for his condition. We celebrated - as we do - with lunch out. This time at the Mann Yann at The Link (lechon macau and fried noodles with mixed meat). Yummy!

Popped into The Landmark grocery, which has, according to my husband, probably the largest snack food section of all the supermarkets in the Ayala Center, SM Hypermart, and Cash and Carry. *chuckle* Well, it is rather impressive to look at a wall of snacks, plus at least six aisle shelves of imported chocolates and crunchies.

Got two more flavors of kibble for the bebehs. Tonight Pica, Baguette, and Walker all go in for spaying at the CARA Capon Clinic in Singalong. How to keep them fasting 8hrs before their drop off at 7am tomorrow will tug at my heartstrings; they're so used to food on demand! Plus, if I feed the others, they'll want to eat, too. Wah. *cuddles kitties*

(Here's hoping the formatting of the tweets turns out right. Mouse was a bit heavy-handed on the delete and I had to copy/paste from my Twitter Archive Blog.)

Event of the Day: Finally, FINALLY, getting Pica and Walker spayed, and Baguette (one of Walker's daughters) too, before they get into any mischief. Had to get them to the spaying clinic by 7am, which meant waking up to bung the three girls into carriers and allow the other cats to have an early breakfast. Poor wee babes!

I'll say this much, the traffic along the South Superhighway at six in the morning was as light as anyone could wish for. It could have been a fluke, for all I know, but it was a good thing. Dropped off the bebehs, paid (Php700/cat), filled up forms, and then off we went, to pick up breakfast at McDonald's Greenbelt, put gas in the car and air in the tires, and then go home.

After demolishing breakfast, I do believe I started laundry. Yes, I did, because there's a basket of clean laundry on the dresser chair right now. Ramon's basket, two loads. Fell asleep after the first load, woke up in time for lunch. Texted the clinic at 1pm, was informed bebehs were ready for pickup. Huzzah! Traffic was also light on the way to the clinic the second time, which surprised me - but who was going to complain? The little darlings were all in varying stages of woozy. Baguette was already vocal, Pica was drowsy, Walker just wanted to sleep.

Of course, Ramon was so touched by Baguette that he let her out of her carrier, and what did she do but try to crawl under my feet while I was driving. *facepalm* Gaah, you can bet that I was *very* careful in traffic! Good thing Baggie decided to settle down under Ramon's chair until we got to Santuario! Picked up some ingredients for culinary experimentation, I played bad cop and bunged Baggie into her carrier, and we reached home without further incident. All were happy to get out of their carriers - as of this writing, Walker has taken refuge under the sofa to sleep, though she was sitting out in the open this morning. I understand that it takes up to three days for full recovery, so am trying not to act like a broody hen.

Baguette and Pica are eating regularly, though Pica is more inclined to sleep. Baguette was roaming all over the living room this morning, didn't understand why I wouldn't let her out with her siblings. *smile* Once Walker is back to normal, I'll schedule Biscuit for spaying, and that will be the last of my worries until Pickles has her kittens, and Pica's youngest kittens grow up enough so I can tell who is a girl. It will be a big load off my shoulders to have this finally done, let me tell you.
