Installing can be tedious

But it is so worth it when you have the machine running *exactly* the way you want it to. Especially if you don't want to use Windows on a regular basis. *grin* Linux feeds my need for free and legal quite nicely, which is my main reason for using it.

In any case, I'm caught up with Dreamwidth, LiveJournal, and e-mail while Ubuntu downloads. Linux Mint won't talk to the new setup just yet. Catching up on backlogs is a profitable occupation meantime.
