[Fwd: Daily Twitter Log]

Event of the Day: So...this was mainly stay-at-home and fiddle with the
computer programs day. See, I'm the kind of person who, after having
mastered the "it just runs" mode, just has to see what other features
work that could make life more interesting.

Sometimes, after a system update/upgrade, functions change. Or as with
my new Twitter log mailer, I had to switch from Twittinesis (where links
showed up nicely in all my blogs when forwarded) to LoudTwitter (where
links show up nice on some blogs and not on others).

Experimentation is fun, as long as done carefully and with an eye to not
borking stuff.

In other news, there was catching up with online reading and culling of
accounts whose functions I couldn't remember, or which were rendered
redundant. Some accounts I deleted outright, others are now going to be
dormant. Makes it easier to track stuff.

Event of the Day: Basically, Ma's physical therapy session and a run
to Cash and Carry for kitty supplies. The punchline: I totally forgot
the car I was driving was not supposed to be out, under the color-coding
scheme. *insert major headdesking here*

I got caught by a traffic aide at the corner of Buendia and Filmore,
just one corner from Cash and Carry. Ramon kept a discreet silence, and
the traffic aide must have gotten a kick about my totally, totally, in
sum, TOTALLY CLUELESS face when I rolled down the window. Then when
realization broke, I was all, OH NOES, WOE! AM SO SORRY...I could see he
was having a gas. Gave him my license, like a good citizen; he asked
where I was headed and I told him. He said I would have to pick up the
license on Friday and when my face fell into the road, he asked if I
could make it on Friday. I told him my schedule wasn't all that
free...and looked resigned to my fate.

WELL DAMN IF HE DIDN'T GIVE MY LICENSE BACK, Y'ALL. He didn't ask for
money, he didn't write me a ticket (though he did show me the huge
collection of licenses he'd gathered before I came along), he gave me
back my license and even told me how to get home without running into
other traffic aides I DON'T EVEN KNOW?

Obviously, I thanked him profusely. The day went on without further
ado, and life was good. My pet supply suki (regular supplier) didn't
have my preferred litter in stock, apparently the Eukanuba boat is
somewhere lost in the Spratlys*. Seems the Eukanuba people also make
the Kitty's Crumble. So I'm back to gravel-type clumping litter since
my Tidy Cats non-clumping is also somewhere lost in the Spratlys.

Event of the Day: Dad and Ramon off to the cardio for their checkups.
Both passed with flying colors, Ramon's Crestor/Rosuvastatin(?) has been
reduced by half, from 20mg. *happy dance*

Basically, the whole morning at Makati Med, and then home to wait for
the arrival of Tropical Storm Falcon, which then turned into a Typhoon
some time in the night. Electricity held, as did the TV; internet went
down for a few hours but came back around 10pm.
