Well, I did say I would be back, right?
Gaaah, humbug! The laptop did something weird and then in spite of resetting, didn't want to connect to the internet. The modem, yes. but not the internet. Spent the better part of an hour trying all sorts of trouble-shoots before attaining success. So I here I am to plague my gentle readers again.
So today was a day of "leisure". If you can call doing three loads of laundry leisure, that is what it was. We had sunshine today, so was able to put three weeks worth of wash on the lines. Two of the loads at full capacity. (Have I told you lately that I love my washing machine? Yes? Then I'll say it again.)
I made an online payment on a bill, and printed out four more. I also "filed" some bills. Well, at least I know where to find them if I need them. (Which reminds me, I need a stapler.)
My recliner cushion arrived, and it makes quite the statement in the room.
I changed the position of the computer desk - again.
Finally put up the shelves and soap holder in the hall bath. Just need to wait for the adhesive to cure, and then I'm really in business. :) (Funny how professional those previous sentences sound, when all I did was use 3M mounting tape.)
Sorted the clothes I was using for emergency stays at the hospital. I should have added them to the laundry. Since Dad has a caregiver to do nights now, I can stay home to catch up on things and sleep, should we have medical drama. Hopefully, dear God, not anytime soon.
It seems the rainy weather has activated my "last Song Syndrome" mode. Although it took a Nido ad, of all things, to get "Tuwing Umuulan At Kapiling Ka" stuck in my head. I love their ad series, I need to look and see if the complete set is on YouTube.
Aaand that about wraps things up. Time to take my insulin, then pop into bed, and hopefully the cats will let me fall asleep and behave, like the good babies that they are.
