Oh my goodness, but it has been one interesting day.
The new washing machine arrived - and I discover that SM is only responsible for delivery, not install. Because the machine is a top loader. So I have arranged with Samsung to get a technician out here to make sure all the connections are connected properly, and they will come tomorrow.
SM should really make it clear at what point their service stops. At least Anson's will give you initial care advice...
Then I think my phone line got jealous, because it decided to die on me in the middle of my call to Samsung to set up the technician appointment. SRSLY? Fortunately, I have a spare unit in the house, and therefore do not really need to rush about getting a replacement telephone. (But you know I will be champing at the bit to get out of the house and see to this...)
My dashcams don't want to talk to my computer. *snif* This makes me miffed. The cable worked on the one camera - but not without a lot of fiddling - and now refuses to talk to the other camera. So add a card reader to the list of things I need to buy, because goodness only knows where I put my card reader.
Plus, I need to go to the bank and get the ATM card whose PIN number I forgot. I'm definitely getting older, if you don't believe it...because of current banking la-di-dah over EMV chipping, I had to change all the ATM cards. Then I left the cards for Dad's accounts in the drawer, because there's no need to carry them around with me. Decided to check the balances the other day...remembered two PINs, but drew a blank on the third. So I the card needs to be replaced to get a new PIN, which hopefully I will NOT forget this time around.
The phone company sent me a note about how I am short on my payment to them. It was a good time to use the mobile application of my bank to pay that bill...except that the phone company phoned me another reminder after I paid them. Hm. They must not have gotten my payment yet.
All is calm at the moment. I have fixed what there is to fix, so maybe now I'll go get myself a snack and watch some TV...
