Oh gosh. It is soooo hot. It's a wonder I can still think straight. As it is, I fell asleep in front of the TV!

But the day went well. Went to the bank and paid bills, and got some money for household things.

Then I went to the Loyola Life office in Pasay Road, to see about a refund on the ancient plans that Ma bought, back when money meant something. Discovered the office was closed: money problems. Am thinking I will try asking at the EDSA office if they can point me in the right direction. I mean... There might be someone out there wanting to buy two plots...

Ate lunch at Marugame Udon, the new Japanese gyudon place in Glorietta. The theme from Slam Dunk started playing as I got my table, and I was smiling happily over my bowl of gyudon through at least two other Anime favorites. Bless whoever is in charge of the playlist...

Bought a new battery for my remote key for the Avanza, at True Value. Also got some 3M picture hangers, and a proper jeweler screwdriver set. 😀

Then I paid more bills in SM, got some plastic tablecloths (aka sheet protectors). Had coffee and a croissant at the Starbucks Glorietta overlooking the Activity Area.

Rambled over the third floor into the Samsung store, and and promptly fell in love with their Gear sports watch. Oh dear... It's 8k now, and maybe they'll have a sale soon. Meantime, I still love my Fitbit Alta.

Then I checked out the food fair on the ground floor, bought myself roast beef and mashed potatoes. They were good! If I catch them again, I'll put in a pre-order for Christmas. I also bought mushroom chicharon. Who knew shiitake mushrooms could end up so crunchy?

Then I went home, and and promptly proceeded to melt, in the most literal sense of the word. Which means it is now time for a cooling shower, and to settle my brains before bed.

Indeed it was a very busy day. I rested the day after that and started planning to go out today - but then the gardener called and said he was going to come, and I remembered the last 1.5 loads of laundry that were waiting on the machine, so....

AND. The car alarm on my car needs replacing after all. So I can call up the nice people at the auto supply before I go over, and ask them for options. *grin*

It all works out. Am just thankful that it is working out at a pace that allows for the leisurely drinking of coffee, and not hyperventilating.

If only there was a way sit under the shower without incurring a huge bill, I would do it in a heartbeat. *wilting grin*
