Saturday is winding down, but despite the glitches, the day has gone well.

The roof has been cleaned of leaves and other debris. We are ready for the rainy season.

PLDT came to check the one fiber-optic line that went down two weeks ago. Turns out the problem was on their end. Then the guy comes to the house with a service order for the line *that was working*.

He looked at the line that was comatose, and asked where the connection was (yeah, like I am supposed to remember what street they placed it), got me to sign the work order to prove he had been to the house, and went off to get a new work order for the downed number.

I have a strong suspicion that PLDT and Pest Away will be at the house at the same time on Monday. 😀 Pest Away has confirmed that they are coming at least once each day in the four days since the payment was picked up. 😀

The crew that came to clean up the roof, also repaired a leak from the mains leading into the house;thankfully with storage tanks full, we managed to survive the break until they came to do temporary repairs yesterday. And today all is well.

Two loads of laundry have been run to celebrate a proper water connection.

Electric fans are life. It has been more hot and humid than I have ever known. The sky is teasing us with dark clouds, and but the rain is only falling in Quezon City near the hilly areas. My solution is to have a daily afternoon shower to rinse off the greasy feeling, then to park myself in front of the fan for as long as possible.

*looks around*

Well, it I guess that is all worth mentioning for now. There is a glass of water I took out of the fridge that needs drinking. 😀
