* Karen the maid asked for another day off to deliver money to her family and stayed out nearly the whole day (family based in Taguig, which is close by); that is the third time this month
* Turns out it was just more than delivering money; there is an issue from about a year ago involving a gun found in her home. between that and the rain, that was the cause of the delay
* Flopsy, poor baby, needs a checkup; he's got a swelling in his ear and what i think is some sort of tumor in his side. He's bouncy and jiggy still, so I have hopes it's not a serious thing, and just something to be added to his neutering budget.
* Noel was absent today. hope everything is all right.
* put aside my art stuff for a bit, (re)discovered the empty cabinets I moved into the office space, behind the art supplies chest.
* workspace table looks perfect now
* also tidied Ma's dresser table. got rid of some unnecessary things - it now looks better. the space with all the religious items could use some reworking, but oh dear, how Ma loves to cling to stuff!
* been raining on and off. it will be time to feed the cats soon
