Amazing what you can get done before the malls are open...I reshuffled furniture -again!- and shifted my mirror so the lower edge clears the headboard. The floor does not know what happened to it...our old floor polisher (as in 1950s old) was rewired to run on 220v, so I took it out for a spin. It is a thing of beauty, and I am glad it's got some life in it yet...
I have two bills falling due, but to paraphrase Aragorn, "this is not that day" for payments. No, the afternoon will be devoted to rest and games and things that do not require physical effort.
Work on the gutters goes well...the last section went up just before the rains began for reals, and now the screens to keep the leaves out are being installed.
So now, i am happily esconsed in my rocking chair watching The Kitchen and learning about clams. Me, I love mine cooked in a simple clear soup with LOTS of ginger. Great for coming in from the cold.
