Not bad for someone battling an almost cold, which I have drowned in vitamin C. My blood could maybe pass for pomegranate juice, it's that acidic...for the moment.

I finally, through a long and circuitous route, figured out how to put my will-only-play-nice-with-Apple book files into my iPad. Now I can be assured of never having to buy a newspaper to read while waiting for something to happen. Unless I need a cover between my butt and a dubious surface.

In the process, my laptop got a workout, and I am happy.

I also installed new ink cartridges in the HP printer, and so I am ready for color xeroxing again. Aside, of course, from the usual printing needs of the household.

Still feeling bombed from being woken up at 1am and 3am by Ma. It's' what happens when two maids urgently, URGENTLY, need to attend to family business...the one maid, certainly more urgent, as her grandmother died. You can't keep someone from Granny's wake and funeral now, can you? Of course, since she's at the family abode, her mother needs company for her dental appointment, and oh yes, maid needs a checkup as long as they are at the medical center. *sigh*

The other one had her bag with her kid's tuition snatched from her on her last day off. So she's advanced her salary to make sure the kid gets to school on time. Whether she will arrive home in a timely manner remains to be seen, however.

And a section of the gutter has sprouted two holes, so it's being replaced by Noel the Handyman. Laundry lines are full, all is well.

Patpat is looking rather forlorn as merienda time approaches. Poor love wants his afternoon tea break. Will surprise him in a few moments.
