*bleary eyed* Ooof, but I feel achy. Guess I've been running around a wee bit too much? Will make up for it, after a fashion, by staying home...doing laundry and things.
Yesterday was fun, though. I went to Kamayan for an excellent lunch. Photographic evidence available on Facebook, hehe. Then I raided Daiso for plastic utility boxes. It may be heresy to say so, but when it comes to useful containers, Daiso pretty much is my poor man's Ikea. *is shot*
Moving right along...after Daiso, I then trotted over to National. Dad wants me to organize our address books. I gave it up as a lost case ages ago, because every time I get the address book neatly organized, after three months it's filled with crossed out items. In medium point black ink. It drives me bonkers, it does. Still...I salves my conscience by buying a cheap but decent address book, and discovered something new.
They now make notebooks specifically for your internet passwords. My first thought when I saw it was: "anything to make a buck" followed by "need to find a secure place to put this...like with the will, maybe?" I have one - hey, it was cheap - but I have yet to fill it.
Heroically resisted, for about five seconds, the siren call of new books. Ii've got two more Dan Brown novels in the Robert Langdon series, and The Best of Unforgettable Legal Stories by Aida Sevilla Mendoza. A find that had me clamping down on ecstatic screams of delight, as she has been one of my favorite authors. She used to have a newspaper column, and it can be described as the legal version of showbiz blind items columns. She had a column on the Maggie de la Riva rapists' career that made me want to wash in alcohol. And the best part was the twist at the end where you realized who the perps were. Glorious.
Naturally, I have yet to bring the books out of their paper bag. *sigh*
Tore myself away from the comfortable chill of National and walked the short distance to Healthy Options. They didn't have the pill case I wanted to get for dad, so I got another style that should work as well. Also got another bottle of agave syrup for myself. Resisted the urge to put a soap bar into the cart...they have new kinds, and I am positively addicted.
Went home, but not before having that moment where you forgot where you parked the car. All in all, a good day.
