Yesterday I discovered I could not find the car registration papers. I was going to get RFID stickers for the cars so I could use the Skyway more often, and the car registration was one of the requirements. But...memory has failed me, and now I am in a bit of a dither. Gah.

On the other hand, my printers are running sweetly. Had to print copies of my driver's license and one billing statement as required for a postal ID, which I will get in a week's time.

Also, responsibility for the family finances has truly devolved on me, with the completion of documentary requirements for the transfer of the last possible account into my name. So save for the house and the cars, I am in charge of 95% of everything now. Getting Ma to sign was the tricky part, but praise God it was done with a minimum of fuss. Consummatum est!

Dad wanted to have his eyes checked at the Village free clinic, but the machine could not get a proper reading. I had better luck yesterday, and a new set of glasses is in my future.

After a quick stop at the Colombarium to visit Ramon,
t was off to WOMFI to sign papers, and then to the BPI branch on Legaspi Street to deposit the dividend from the account which is now mine. And it was a weight off my shoulders, let me tell you.

Landmark next. Paid the phone and the water bills. Am considering cutting off the spare cellphone lines...with Ramon gone, there's no reason I can think of now to keep them. Just one line each from the major carriers will do. The SMART line used by Ramon is good till 2017, so that will have to wait. One of the Sun lines can go.

There is a part of me that is trying to be a minimalist. I know I could do with less, but boy, the amount of *stuff* I have acquired over the years gives me pause... Still, the stuff I have managed to get rid of has given a feeling of lightness around my life, and I am getting to like it.

Browsed around Landmark, then had a meal in Pho Bac, then browsed some more. Got home at seven, much to the surprise of Qbie, who made it known that he expected me to be home when he called.

And life goes on. I see that Trump is on a winning streak. Oh dear... OTOH our campaign season is getting lively. Tomorrow we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the EDSA revolution and I have every intention of sleeping through all the brouhaha, if only because I need to catch up on my sleep!
