Busy day. Have been playing Santa, delivering gifts to Toyota and the doctors at Makati Med. Currently settled in Greenbelt's California Pizza Kitchen for lunch, then I'll be off to the Chapel for the last round of gift giving.
I was at Santuario earlier to drop off some old clothes and set up novena Masses for Ramon, starting tomorrow. Which would have been our 24th anniversary. *wistful sigh*
But, as Dr. de la Rosa said, life goes on. And bar the occasional moment, Ramon would not have wanted me to cry overmuch.
I need to get a new string of Christmas lights and stow the decor for next year. I'm obviously not in the mood to do much more in the way of window dressing, so better to get things squared away.
Am treating myself kindly, and taking Ma's advice to ignore as much of Daddy being a bear as can be managed. I suppose it's what comes from quiet grieving coupled with a vigorous cleaning drive.
More updates later. Food has arrived, and it looks pretty good.
