Hi guys. It's been quite a week, most of which I seem to have forgotten. Not to worry, will soon recollect the most important events...
Mainly I've been catching up on things. The most important of these was transferring an account from joint to single for Dad. The only step left is to have a notary type up the required affidavit from the format i was given, which i will have done tomorrow.
After i go to the storage facility to pay the rent. And after visiting HMR Pioneer to get cat food. If i do nothing else, i will at least get that done.
So three items on tomorrow's agenda. Doesn't seem like much until you factor in the traffic and that destination A is in Pasig, destination B is in Pioneer, and goodness knows where i will find a decent notary office after that. Oh well.
Christmas is coming, and life is getting there. Cemetery caretaker called, and I'm having the mausoleum roof repaired; the walls can wait for another day. Repairs take precedence over repainting in my books. With all the banditry that takes place from Halloween till All Saints, beautification of a tomb isn't worth all the headaches. Besides, I know Grampa and Granma aren't in there. Just their remains. The important parts of them are with God, as it should be.
Home renovations are complete for this year. I have come to the conclusion that the living room will have to wait till next year for refurbishing. Instead we have a new circuit breaker, a new heater, and a new countertop in the dirty kitchen. If i were to add up all the things that got done this year, i should be ashamed for complaining, so much got done.
On the other hand i know God loves me. He doesn't mind my venting because he makes it easy to get over things. *grin*
Sooo...what else? There was the massage at that new branch of Mont Albo that was the best thing ever. Especially the head massage part that seemed to settle my brains. Plus it's in Park Square, which is handy to the new Mercury Drug, Family Mart, and Pizza Factory. Fun!
Oh yes. Ramon had a close call with pulmonary edema, as all of FB knows. Thanks be to God for his mercy and the power of praying friends and relations. He rode it out at home. I am now richer by a few more gray hairs. But all is well, and all manner of things shall be well.
That's all for now. Gotta conserve energy for tomorrow...
