Cleaned up and in a nightie i forgot existed. Feeling rather elegant. Also very tired as to body, and just tired as to mind.

Early start today. Had to have fasting blood sugar and a few other tests at Makati Medical (which to me, will always be thehospital, just as Irene Adler was always thewoman). I timed my last bite of food so that i wouldn't be dashing off at the crack of dawn and still woke up at 4am anyway.

Took a bath, packed five bags of laundry. Two were mine, two were sheets, one was Ma's dusters. Readied the budget for the circuit breaker. Mild panic at not being able to find the list of blood tests, but remembered most of them.

At hospital, listed tests that I could recall, submitted urine sample, went in for blood extraction. Veins were cooperative, lab tech an expert - it was the most pain free experience I've ever had.

Breakfast at Floating. Coffee too. Ran into Doc Gatmaitan's secretary on the way back to the car. Reached the car before realizing parking ticket was not validated and discovered doctor's list of blood tests. Oy!

So. Luckily the ramps were clear upon exit. Went to Citi, got the budget to pay for the new circuit breaker setup. I bundled the laundry over to the Fabricare at Petron, and they'll be ready for pickup on Wednesday. Then home.

Snatched a little sleep when I got home, had quick lunch, discussed things with the handyman, then set off to pay bills. First at Landmark, then at SM. Back to Landmark to get the new maid some uniforms.

Last, a few groceries before heading home, to dinner and the usual.

Tomorrow is doctor day. Hope the news is good.
