Ramon and i are enjoying the golden oldies on the radio at the moment. These are opposed to the oldies, which is music from the disco era.

We went rushing to the ER early yesterday morning; Ramon had what the doctors called a gastritis attack. Discovered that ER medicines are all administered intravenously now -so the heplock is installed before the patient even gets to know what's wrong. This made Ramon unhappy in the extreme, and who can blame the man?

So he gave in with very ill grace. He was given omeprazole to settle his tummy, and later something that sounded like cough syrup to ease the pain. Very effective - it put him to sleep.

Had an ECG, which led to an x-ray, which was clear, for which we thank God. So we were released after paying $$ and got home in time for the kittty cats to have breakfast. The doctors couldn't figure it out - but since the patient responded to the prescriptions,, it was all good.

Any hospital visit that you can walk out of on your own power is a merciful, wonderful thing.

After a sleep, I was able to combine business with pleasure by doing the groceries at SM Aura,, where I did the "ladies that lunch" thing with my best friend Desiree. It was a very soothing experience reviewing Hope's graduation party, exchanging news, and comparing notes about life in general.

scared myself by finding out my wallet was not in my bag when it was time to leave the mall. Credit and cash cards, yes, but no cash. So I got some money out of the machine, got out of parking, got home....

And discovered my wallet in the side pocket next to the brake. I don't even know....

So now i am going to get off my butt and make some coffee.. Ciao!
