yesterday's events
*sigh* there must be some sort of planetary retrograde going on. First the TV goes pfft because reasons. Then my other tablet dies for no reason I can think of. Gah. And as of this writing, i've lost internet and cable TV. Double gah.
(We will overlook the aching I feel in every bone of my body. A good night's sleep and Icy Hot should fix it.)
But at least all my fic is in the cloud, thanks to Evernote - along with various notes and things. :)
The day had quite a lot of pluses, anyway. I finally got Ma to do some important paperwork, and now the savings and loan is mightily relieved.
I deposited monies, always a good thing. (The bank was offline since opening of business hours; more retrograde.)
Dad got his new ATM card but will have to encode his PIN tomorrow. I can live with that.
Went to SM to get medicines at Watson's, check out the newly renovated supermarket, which looks rather nice. Didn't get to see all of it since I developed a raging, tearing, drum and bugle corps headache and so home with a few groceries.
Then life as usual. One of the maids - who irritates me for reasons I am trying to figure out - is on her day off. The one remaining is pretty good, both in skills and behavior.
