recent events
a sort of placeholder, to be amplified at some future date...
day before yesterday, Ramon had a visit from his old friend pulmonary edema. fortunately we were already on the way to the hospital for my pre-checkup blood tests so took a detour to the ER first. stabilized hubby, confined him, which made him royally pissed but I'm used to that. got blood tests done. delivered stuff - more like jettisoned three bags of stuff - went home, fed cats, assembled hospital kit, and settled down for the usual hospital visit routine.
yesterday while waiting to see if Ramon would be discharged, I went to my endocrinologist appointment. am pleased to report doctor is fairly satisfied with my progress, but I can do better. need an eye check before the next visit. Ramon was set free from the hospital, and am glad to note that the billing process seems faster now. had ourselves lunch in Glorietta, then paid bills, then I got myself a Sun cellular portable WiFi dongle so I can take my tablets anywhere and use WiFi with my cellphones. it's good backup for the PLDT WiFi dongle. am beginning to wonder about switching internet configurations, but Ramon might have adjustment difficulties.
those are the essentials. right now dealing with a mountain of laundry and other things. like finding out how ,such I owe the cardio.
