Bunnet is in the house again. I must have aged a decade last night, worrying about the little boy. He turned up when I took Patpat out for his morning stroll at 5am; someone had let him slip out yesterday, and it was raining this morning! Told Pat I would just be a moment, hooked his leash on a chair, and went out to retrieve my furbaby.
He was crying when I brought him into the kitchen, but a rubdown with some old rags fixed that. Gave him his medicine, then put him in his carrier while I recovered my wits. Given that I cried myself to sleep last night and had to take ZZZZQuil to sleep, I certainly needed it. Let him out of his carrier and then had to chase him out of a wet bathtub. After I dried him off again, I let him hide in a cabinet for the morning. Now all is well.
Except that he's not eating enough. At least he's eating? Back to the vet at the end of the week; hopefully he will have improved by then.
Thanks to all who prayed and wished us well. Hopefully this will be the last excitement for a very long time.
