wow. the software upgrade download finished at around five and the actual installation must have finished around six-thirty; I was at dinner, so could not be sure of the exact time. anyway, got the system upgraded and running, and therefore could finish the one thing I had left to do for today, to wit - scan the supermarket receipt for my Glucerna SR as proof of purchase, and send it off to Abbbott to get a free glucometer.

Feel rather like I've been put through the heavy cycle of the washing machine. Time to sign off for now.
