Just remembered today is the double canonization of two popes: John XXIII and John Paul II. Adorning our wall beside our Sacred Heart are the papal blessings bestowed by both on our house. The first, from John XXIII, was a gift when the house was blessed, all of 47/48 years ago. The second was from John Paul II, brought back after the parents visited Rome one year. *looks for the votive candles to light*
