*deep breath* focus on the positive, they say. Ok, here goes:
Positive #1: I came into enough money to buy a larger tablet. 9inches, just right for home surfing, as it is wifi only. Yay!
Then my desktop died, which leads to
Positive #2: I now have a new laptop, another Neo to keep the Windows-only netbook company.
Corollary: all my data remains intact.
The damper on this is that I have lost/misplaced one of the remote controls for the car. My mind is running around in circles, because I last saw it in the palm of my hand, and then...blankness.
It wasn't on the ground where I parked the car. I didn't hear it drop on the ground either. But. I. Can't. Find. It.
Maybe it will turn up tomorrow. Meantime, I sleep...50 years old, and I am still expected home before sundown. *deep sigh*
