Bills arrived today, and I find myself breathing deeply and praying. Again. Just to be on the safe side.
It was a fairly normal day. Attempt to coax Ma out into the world failed. Will try again on Wednesday, as tomorrow Ramon has to go have a blood extraction, and I have things to take care of after that.
(Though it would be fun to sneak off to either Divisoria or Tagaytay, you know. *sigh*)
Funny. I thought I had more than this to write...oh yeah. I took a look at the Kobo e-reader in National Glorietta. And then looked at the Kindle in this other store in Glorietta (it's hidden in that hallway near the elevator). Would love to have either one, BUT - I have no time to read. This is a lamentable thing, especially with my backlog of books. *sigh*
One thing I did do...the lovely gingerbread can that is now my piggy bank? Well, it's empty now, the contents counted and ready for deposit. *feels accomplished*
After wavering and waffling, I have (more or less, but now leaning towards the "more" side of the balance) decided that I am going to delete my Facebook account. If I can start over with a new nickname, that's fine. If not, I am not going to miss it. The people I truly care about, I know where to find them and they know how to find me. Will experiment with deactivating and see how long I can hold out, because honestly? While I do like keeping up with people, not everyone on my Facebook is someone I want to keep relating to. We'll see.
Not much I can think of now that's newsworthy. Am in the middle of downloading LibreOffice and hoping it will finish

my compensation is therefore audiobooks, and sometimes podcasts. specifically, this podcast. give it a go? :3
i'll be really sad to not see your posts on my fb wall... i recall i even responded to one of your posts recently! but i completely understand.
i don't spend a lot of time on fb, myself, although i have a hard time leaving it because it has proved useful in staying in touch with old friends and family in far off places. i just spend some time away from it if it gets too much for me, and then i go "HAY GUYZ SUP" by reposting useless crap that nobody really cares about XD
