Here's one for the books. Apparently, while I was doing the groceries, someone managed to get into my car and make off with the bags containing the car upholstery and my collection of tote bags.

They did leave the one basket of tote bags which happened to be my favorites, though, so it wasn't a total loss. I will probably miss the just-completed collection of Healthy Options totes, but not by much.

But...tote bags. I know I saw them in the car when I dropped off the laundry, and the laundry place is just across the street from Cash and Carry, where I did the shopping. Ramon was in the car at the time, so if anyone had opened the boot, he'd have known about it.

Anyway, as I said, not a total loss. They're things, and if anyone can get something out of one set of Avanza seat covers and a collection of tote bags, I wish them joy of it. Especially with Christmas coming.

Hm. They may have gotten away with my rainy-day jelly shoes also. Ah well. At least they left my favorite stuff. *shrug*

If I seem rather phlegmatic about the whole thing, I guess I am. I've been through worse, and this kinda takes the cake. I mean, TOTE BAGS, people. And they only went through the boot. So that's something to be grateful for.

Here's the summary of the rest of the day:

* Prepared gate passes for the cook, who took her day off today
* Went to BPI, paid bills, deposited a check, ordered new bills for the Christmas giving
* Went to Santuario San Antonio and dropped off old clothes etc at the Caritas box
* Went to Citibank and paid another bill
* Went to the laundromat across from Cash and Carry, deposited laundry (currently Dad's clothes occupy the lines, and the weather is not very conducive to quick drying)
* Went to Cash and Carry, where good times were had
* lunch at Teriyaki Boy
* various items were purchased at Japan Home Store
* got Ramon's Trimetazidine tablets at The Generics Pharmacy
* bought a sundae cone at the McDonald's specialty outlet (ice cream products are all they sell)
* went to my regular massage place
* went to the place that sells stuff for organizing one's vacation and got Ma new jewelry organizers (must do this tomorrow)
* went to The Soup Kitchen and ordered mushroom soup
* joined Ramon at Chatime for coffee and consumption of soup
* went to the supermarket

Then home. All in all, it was a good day, theft of items included. God is good.
