Pixie, praise the good Lord, is back. *deeply relieved*
She came home while I was taking my afternoon nap, and was waiting for her merienda as if she hadn't been gone the whole night. *smile* Squeaked a little when I caught her up and hugged her; then fed her and about half the gang their merienda.
Then I carried her to our room, where Ramon carried her and fussed over her, and the next time I looked at her, she was fast asleep. *grin* No doubt worn out by her adventures. Hopefully she has learned her lesson, and will not tax my feelings for a very long time to come.
It's always the same. No sooner do I resign myself to the possibility that I may have lost a cat forever, than they show up.
All's right with my world. Even the computer seems to be behaving, and it may be that all I have to do is get a new monitor after all. Still, I think I'll make a few backup start disks, to be sure.

Oh dear God, I have had A DAY. I don't even know if I want to talk about it, but I suppose I will - just not now.
But thankfully, all's well that ends well, and I can go sleep with a thankful heart.
Translation: the cats, the parents, and the husband are all well, despite my emotional drama. I am well, too - I feel totally *purged*. :)
