The good news: I spring-cleaned my room.
The bad news: While moving stuff around, the CPU of my computer fell (!!!) and now is acting a wee bit wonky. I am writing this entry from the desktop, so the innards are still working, but...
The good news: Fortunately I moved everything I wasn't actively using onto portable hard drives last week. And the first thing I did when I switched on the computer was to put all the other files into a thumb drive. So whatever will be, will be.
Will try and use a bootable (from thumb drive) Linux installation to see if I can't improve things a bit. Or improve it lots, who knows. But that's for another day - tomorrow - no, today! - i have to go to the supermarket. Dad is the resident doomsday prophet because on Monday there's this big protest rally about the misuse of pork barrel funds. (Got to hand it to the Filipino - decades of pork barrel abuse, but give people social media, and before long, we've got a protest movement! :)
