Hope they're not just milking the money cow. (sorry Ramon)

Nah, I trust Ramon's cardio - I mean, we've known the dear man for what, six years now? And it helps that he's a near neighbor, who says if there's any sign of trouble, we can just bang on his front door, figuratively speaking.

Well, I'd rather bring hubby to hospital, and not presume on his kindness. Anyway, when it comes to milking the money cow, MMC is right up there with the best of them. The thing that really irritates me is the absolute. SLOWNESS. of discharging/admitting patients. One is a function of the other; I mean, the faster you can get well patients out of the hospital, the faster you can admit those who need the place, y/y?

Anyway, we're home, fed and bathed, and the cats were very happy to see Parpar. We actually saw Qbie in the empty lot next door as we drove up, and when Ramon rolled down his window and called to him, the little darling pricked up his ears and started trekking towards the house.

It is amazing how swiftly Miko has made himself at home. O.O Not even Mochi was that fast. Grabe.

It is the back end of Mercury retrograde, right? Please to be leaving soon kthxbye.

Well, they can't be that well paid.

Also I found out that they want you to have rested long enough for your blood pressure to stabilize. Kahit na mabilis yun registration pinahintay pa talaga ako para makapahinga.

Haha, now I realize your cats are lucky to have a marmar and parpar. Single mom lang pala ako. :P

Well, I get that part. Which is why I think every hospital should have a sort of intermediate section for people who have been stabilized from emergency status, but cannot yet be given a room. It is unnerving in the extreme to hear someone dying in the cubicle next door while one's husband is all but ready to sneak out of the ER to save on hospitalization costs.

As long as she pays for the bag's seat. ;)

Bwisit siya. Couldn't be bothered to answer politely in deference to Ramon's white hairs - the girl couldn't have been older than me. She had the brass to tell me to get a chair from the next table...Ramon wouldn't have it, to have her bag take priority over me.

Buti na lang I got him to shush. But I have a sneaking suspicion that's what triggered his heart. *sigh*

However, we survived. And I am thankful.

And that is why I avoid human contact as much as possible. :P

I'm sorry he's back in the hospital!

I looked up "merienda" to see what sort of disease that was, because I'd never heard of it. Oops.

Awww, thank you for the sympathy - and the prayers (I'm sure you must have mentioned it to the good Lord at some point. =) We're home now, and Ramon is back to resting quietly after watching Skyfall (!) of all things.

I'll be all right too. We were just two nights in the hospital, so that was mercifully quick. Everyone seems to have coped while we were gone, so...yes.

*hugs*
