For the information of the general public: spent last Monday-Wednesday (July 22-24) at Makati Med. Ramon's heart/lungs went on a bender again. In on Monday, bed rest ordered for Tuesday, out on Wednesday. Managed to get the weekly groceries done (a necessity, as the refrigerator was empty), and kept things going at home.
Poor Mama, Dad kept foisting the phone on her whenever he called to check on us, and she was all over tears every time. I wish he wouldn't do that, it upsets her for no good reason. I keep telling him I'll explain in full when I get home, but no...
So if my writing floats in and out of coherence, like my physical condition, am still pulling myself together. So far, so good, everyone's all right now.

We're okay now. Ramon has a follow-up checkup tomorrow, and hopefully we will find all well.
We are also going to get a brand-new LED TV (Sony) for the living room. After 13 years of care and wear and tear? The old 47in LCD TV finally said it had had enough. *grin* And neither love or money would bring it back - not that we could, as the last time the service tech looked at it, he said there were no parts to be had for love or money.
So we will be upgrading. I just have to work out the details with the store, if they accept COD, etc. :) And it will be all good.
