Good news! :)
1) We are bringing Whiskey home from the vet tomorrow. Yes! Although she is not 100% well, and still not eating, we are going to test the theory about her being homesick and wanting to eat only in familiar surroundings. Keep your fingers crossed for the little darling, yes?
In other news, during our visit today, she was full of beans, crawling all over us, miaowing, and then settling down for a long nap. D'awww. Which lends credence to the idea that she hates hospital surroundings, and is well enough to come home, at least.
2) Dad improves. More slowly than Whiskey, but at least he appears to be moving in the right direction. The Village is having its flu vaccine day on the 14th - Dad was thinking of getting his flu shot then, but I nixed the idea. While he's on meds, I don't think he should be getting a vaccine, goodness knows what kind of reactions we could end up with. Maybe I'm a bit of a mother hen about it, but I mean, he's doing all right now. Better to wait till he's fit before getting that shot.
3) Managed to get some extra sleeping time today, which is always good.
4) Got one basket of laundry done. Yay!
5) Got Dad his baby aspirins, he was running low. Tried the Watson's at ForbesTown, near the McDo drive-in. Cute place, I should try going there more often. I could park near UCC and then walk it.
6) Aha. I am reminded that there is a McDo Big and Tasty sandwich waiting for me, and I should eat it. The Big and Tasty appears to me, to be half a Big Mac. There's just one patty instead of two, but all the other ingredients - special sauce, cheese, lettuce, pickles, onion on a sesame seed bun - are the same. It's my favorite after the Quarter Pounder.
But for chicken, I will forever be a Jollibee girl, no lie. :)
