Qbie "rescued" and all's well.

With some help from the linesmen across the street, who lent us their ladder so I and the maid could get to Qbie stuck on the neighbor's roof. I owe the missus a duty thank-you gift for allowing the brat to be such a bother while we rescued him.

It was the crowning orange to my day. *broad happy grin*

If all goes as previously arranged, the animal welfare truck will be here this afternoon to pick up my last four male cats that need to be neutered. They will fast in the clinic, poor babies, and come home fixed; and then I can rest easy knowing that my entire family will never have to worry about producing unwanted kittens.

Indeed yes! Qbie's territory is in the opposite direction. And the roof he got stuck on belongs to the lady governor in charge of animal welfare in the village, I just realized.

Of course, babycat insisted on going out again after eating two bowls of food and taking a long nap. My world is content again.
