Today's brain dump
i'll start with a recap off today's events and see where this entry goes from there, all right?
Qbie and Pebbles both checked in for breakfast, and sfayed a while. With a little bit of traffic control, hostile encounters were averted. :) Pebbles was back for an afternoon snack; I saw him lazing in the lanai, and invited him in for a meal. Again, traffic control helped avert any hostile encounters.
I did my laundry, the mountain high pile of it. Thanks to he summer heat, it is all dry and smelling a treat.
Pest Away came for the monthly inspection, and a belated Mother's Day gift for Ma. Citi called to wish her belated Mother's Day and relay some banking info.
I was out after lunch to pay a bill, and ended up looking for the feed store recommended by a friend as a source of cat food at lower costs than the pet supply store. Discovered that Google maps is a wonderful reference, but nothing beats actually driving to a destination based on one's knowledge of traffic flow. As a result, I now know both the crowded and the "express" routes to the place.
Bought some kibble varieties to sample, that I hope the brats will like. Am mixing it in with kibble they know already so that it won't surprise them - or their digestion!
From Pasig - did I mention the store was in Pasig? - it was a straight run back to Bonifacio Global City, where I picked up goodies at Red Ribbon. Discovered that the McDo drive thru was operating again, so I got apple pies, fries, and large Cokes for merienda. Am not too enamoured with the angle of the microphone, but I can live with it.
Got home, started to feel like steamed dimsum. Merienda was consumed, i had a short lie-down, then life as usual.
Tomorrow, I have no outside assignments, so I can stay home and put away the laundry, for starters. I have to clean out and change handbags; update my links blog; fill up the barangay census forms, and sleep. I've been somewhat short on sleep and I need to pay off my sleep debt before I doze off at the wheel.

no subject
There's Hap Chan, Yellow Cab, National Bookstore, Pure Gold etc. further along C. Raymundo if ever you're in the neighborhood again.
