Loud conversations in the night
Just came back from turning off the porch lights. Had heard a very loud conversation going on, all the way from our bedroom in the back of the house. Two maids taking advantage of the lights, so when I plunged them into darkness, they immediately decided to go home.
They're not even from our street, and didn't even have the grace to apologize when I stepped out the front door and called out, "You're out late!" *harrumph* Which they were, as 9pm is the househelp curfew.
