Feeling on the edge of being sick. Good to be out of the house again. Typhoon came and went, up in the north, following the same track as the one before, WTH. Radius of the second typhoon (Nalgae/Quiel) not wide enough to affect Manila weather significantly. Watch the prices of vegetables and rice go up, and Christmas is coming. *sigh*

Trying out the bucket data plans of Smart. Observed that the P300/250MB/30 days is more than I actually consume, so have shifted to P20/25MB/1 day, to be activated only when I'm out of the house. Because when I'm in the house, I use the wireless network anyway.

I really should remember to bring the receipt for the monitor, this is the umpteenth time I've forgotten. Unless this is some sort of subconscious avoidance thing going on. Whatever.

See that first tweet of mine down there? It's one of those facepalm moments. For those who don't understand Tagalog, basically what it says is that flood relief to Obando, Bulacan, is being delayed because there's a shortage of plastic bags with the governor's face on it. The governor's office, apparently, is holding up the distribution until more plastic bags are being printed? If true, then I wouldn't be surprised if (a) the governor found himself tipped into the floodwaters while distribution was ongoing, or (b) had one of those bags pulled over his head, or (c) both of the above. I mean, REALLY??
