With Ramon starting a cold, I put my foot down and ordered him to stay home while I brought the Avanza to the service center. The horn managed to die, and the airbag warning light wouldn't turn off - so off our Scarlett went to have herself checked out. Checked her in to the brand new service area, with its bright lights and spacious new layout, and the humungous TV with the queueing information. My my my, but it was all shiny and new!

Walked back home from Toyota, and for the first time in years, realized just how quiet it is in the Village. Got a chance to admire some of the houses we usually zip past on the way out of the Village, and arrived home hot and sweaty and not winded in the least, which was a nice thing to know. I wish I could walk more often, but I'd have to take the car and find a starting point where the cats can't follow.

Did things around the house, slept a wee bit, had lunch, then took the Innova out to the grocery to lay in some supplies for yet another typhoon. Not sure if it will affect Metro Manila as badly as the one that just left, but better safe than sorry. Ramon had to stay home some more, since the maids were off at the barangay-sponsored reflexology training program.

While at Cash and Carry, had a chance to trot over to Amber's Golden Plate and order pancit malabon for dinner. One of my favorite foods, ever. *grin*

Got home just in front of the start of what could be the typhoon's leading edge, which relieved Mama greatly. Settled the house down, and life as usual.
