In other news, I think this is the day Ramon had a blood pressure spike that popped a capillary or two in his eye. There was this huge red blot near the iris, and so it was off to the eye doctor to have it checked out. Turns out that Ramon had a BP of 150/something that day. @_@ Luckily, the blood didn't get into the innards of the eye, and so medicines were prescribed. Ramon also needs corrective lenses for distance and reading, so by the time we see the doctor again, he'll have two new pairs of glasses

It was raining out by the time we were done with the doctor, pouring in sheets - the leading edge of the typhoon, no doubt. We stopped at the Mercury Drug across the street to get the eye medicines, then picked up roast chicken at Andok's, then headed home to get out of the wet. The cats were happy to see us, but puzzled at the amount of rain coming down, and kept close to the house for the day.
