This would be the day where Ramon and I did a quick run to the supermarket to pick up kittycat food and basic goods in the face of the incoming typhoon. I wasn't feeling so good, but nothing to lay me prostrate on the fainting couch (though I was sorely tempted, believe me). News about the typhoon was unsettling - Nesat arrived almost around the same time that Ondoy did last year, and everyone was antsy.

Ourselves, we are fortunate to be on safe ground, and the eye was expected to land in the north, but still...the satellite pictures of the size of that thing? Most disturbing.
