Fwd: Saturday, 30-July-2011 :: Event/s of the Day & Twitter Log
Event of the Day: Stayed home, and did any number of things. Had to
do some tweaking to the Linux system to get it to display YouTube
properly; and that came about because I was trying to see a tutorial
video about one of the apps on Tabbie. *eyeroll*
I've fallen into a routine that seems to suit me, maybe it's a
function of age - or having household staff? I don't know. But these
days I wake up at around 5am, help Ramon feed the cats and have
bonding time with hubby and cats. Shower, then internet from about
6-7am. Back to sleep if my eyes start closing on me, then wake up at
around 9am; otherwise stay online till tummy rumbles for something to
eat.
Breakfast, then tidy the room, clean the litter pans, fetch and carry
for Ma who is having breakfast; get back online till lunch.
Post-lunch, either nap or continue reading feeds till dinner at 6pm.
Family bonding over the evening news, where various politicians are
reviled and the wardrobe of the entertainment news presenters are
commented on. Ramon closes the house gates at 8pm, at which point the
inside cats are rounded up and fed and put in the kitchen. Then the
last of the online reading (which online reading is interrupted
throughout the day and a good deal of the night by kitty demands),
Twitter time, and maybe even some writing.
In bed by 11pm, unless I get wrapped up in reading fic or writing it.
*grin* In which case I greet my bed by 1am.
Then the whole cycle starts again. It seems to be working for me;
with the netbook in the bedroom, it's easy enough to quickly scan
through stuff before going in-depth at the desktop. Feeling much
better than I have in months, and that's a good thing.
