Fwd: Monday, 25-July-2011 :: Event/s of the Day & Twitter Log
Event of the Day: Picked up a dividend check for Ma, went home so she could endorse it while I freshened up; collected Ramon and we went to deposit the check. Ramon, as usual, drove around the block - which actually took longer than my having to use the ATM. What's to do, the bank doesn't allow waiting in front of its doors; quite understandable since it was once the target of a very pointed attack several years ago. Fortunately no one was hurt in that incident.
Then Ramon and I did a dry run to the DFA Aseana office, where I will renew my passport. Noted was the proximity of McDo, and difficulty of parking in the parking lot of same. Mrmph.
Did some more joy-riding around the reclaimed area, then had lunch at SM Mall of Asia (Savory Chicken, yum) before going home to another Nap of the Ages, which was a wonderful thing. One would think my body had just discovered the concept of sleep; makes me wonder if I really was under all manner of stress these past two months, and if so, how much of it was self-inflicted.
Checked that all my passport renewal materials are in the envelope and ready for presentation. Here's hoping for good luck in the renewal process.
