Event of the Day: A run to Cash and Carry to refill Ramon's prescriptions and pick up some extra groceries. Squeezed in a half-hour upper body massage before dropping by my suki pet supplier who still does not have Kitty's Crumble. I think Animal House will be seeing a lot of me in the very near future.
On the subject of litter, I discovered that a mixture of 3 scoops of small animal bedding (wood shavings) plus 2 scoops of Kitty's Crumble, manages to keep odor down fairly well. Just have to make sure the shavings are really broken up for the bottom layer; cats like fine granules, apparently.
I bought an electric fan for the kitchen that has met with general approval. *nods* This is good. I may switch from regular desk fans to box fans as needed; at least in certain parts of the house.
I managed to buy DVD blanks, to schedule a burn-off of files from the DVR. Passing the computer shops, I started weighing the pros and cons of having a new laptop or a new CPU (because, yo, I don't need another monitor with one under repair, nor a keyboard or mouse). I do have the netbook for working elsewhere in the house, so the scale is tipping on the side of a new CPU. Which is almost at par in cost for a new (albeit perhaps lower-end) laptop. But it's not like I'm a power user...I think at the moment the bulk of my internet time is spent catching up on feeds, and on Twitter updates while looking at other things. I'm letting inspiration simmer while I focus on other stuff.
Home to a good long nap. The kind that I didn't really want to wake up from, except kittens were getting anxious about Marmar not sitting up in time for their dinner. *cuddles kitty family*
