Event of the day: Actually being able to get Ma out of the city and to Tagaytay, there to enjoy the fresh breezes while at Gerry's Grill. It's easy enough to get Ma out of the house, one just has to work around her natural waking times, is all. Which now means that early departures are totally out of the question, and all I really have to do is win her over to spending the night at Tagaytay, the better to take advantage of the early morning. We shall see. Dad tends to rain on any such notion, if it means he'll be spending. However, should I be the one to foot the bill...*chuckle*
I would too - foot the bill, that is - as I cheerfully did when I was working. But life has changed a wee bit, so must work around that.
It was a perfect day to be out of the city. Hubby was at home to rest and relax some more; I have promised to have him up after his checkup on Friday.
Installed Dropbox on all the tech toys: Tabbie, Neo Netbook and Mr. Blue. Of the three, Tabbie was the easiest, and Neo was the weirdest. Mr. Blue needed a bit of tweaking to get it to work properly, but nothing like Neo. In the end, everything worked! I have a feeling my writing will, if not improve, at least be more prolific.
