Fwd: Wednesday, 13-July-2011 :: Event/s of the Day & Twitter Log
Events of the Day: These were legion, as after two days of being housebound, there were quite a lot of things to do in the outside world!
a) Ma had her physical therapy session, and as usual, we dropped the physio off at Alphaland.
b) Then we made a U-turn through the village and brought Dad to the bank so he could fix up some stuff. Ma's new ATM card ready for pick-up, scheduled for tomorrow.
c) Brought Dad back home, off to Greenbelt. Lunch at Bubba Gump...split a junior order of fish and chips and jasmine rice with hubby. Yummy!
d) Healthy Options, to get Ma's vitamin supplements.
e) BPI down the hall, to deposit a check dividend and get money for the week.
f) WOMFI office, to sign deposit slips and various other papers (am secretary for the board of trustees aka alternate check signatory)
g) Cash and Carry, to check if pet supply had Kitty's Crumble. Delivery to store will be by Saturday, maybe. Must call before-hand.
h) Cash and Carry Supermarket, to buy kitty food. Saw pine shavings bedding for small animals and decided to use some as extender for the last bag of Kitty's Crumble.
Back home, changed litter pans with 50/50 mix of Kitty's Crumble and pine shavings. Cats seem to like it so far, and odor control is pretty good. Pica's latest set of kittens have reached the age where they need to learn about litter, but so far attempts to introduce not yet working. Uh-oh.
