So Ramon's senior cards will be out tomorrow instead of today. For sure, says the barangay. :P Rescheduled Ma's trip to the bank as a result, which ended up with me being home for the washing machine repair guys.
As a result, I now have a working washing machine again, and it has washed my bed linens with no hitches at all. WIN! :)

Yaye! Hopefully soon I, too, will have a working washing machine. (Although I suspect your need was more dire than mine.)

As of today, I do believe that life will settle down at last. The washing machine and generator have been serviced; the roof repaint project and lanai roof replacement project are complete. All the stuff I lost when my bag was stolen at the supermarket - all the important stuff, anyway - is now replaced.

Now I can look forward to normal events again. It's a nice feeling.
