Event of the Day: Mang Miguel, our regular gardener, came back to work and promptly discovered that our pump sprayer had gone walkabout. Which put SM Makati's Ace Hardware on our scheduled list of trips. The first was a quick trip to BPI Pasong Tamo to talk to the manager about replacing Ma's ATM card. Dad had spoken to her and gave me a version that confuzzled me completely - turned out Dad conflated two topics into one and hence the confusion. All Ma has to do now is sign the form the manager gave me, we turn it in on Monday, and her card will come in due course.
Next stop was SM Makati, to eat at the food court. While there I discovered that Tweetitow and SMART were having issues, resulting in none of my tweets being sent. My new tablet phone (which I am mentally referring to as Tabbie) was able to do the internet connection thing pretty sweetly, and so I managed quite well. As it is, I've downloaded the HootSuite app for tracking my Home Feed and it is such a joy to be able to *read* things!
At the Appliance Center, I bought an 8GB mini-SD card for Tabbie, but passed on the Bluetooth headset for now. Down to Ace Hardware to by new pump sprayers, to the supermarket to stock up on cat food and other goodies.
Then home and life as usual. That is, if you call wanting to get through all the levels of Angry Birds in one go "as usual". *huge grin* How other things got done, I'm sure I don't know. *grin*
