Fwd: Daily Twitter Log
Event of the Day: bag stolen at the supermarket. I refuse to re-hash the excruciating details, suffice to say that everything I could block was blocked within seconds of the discovery. Replacements should be arriving within the week.
To date, I am now legally able to drive, having obtained my replacement license in just a little over an hour at the LTO. (Now if only they could find a place that would allow for more parking, yayz!) I also have a new SIM card, but no new phone as yet. Will take care of that tomorrow when Ramon and I start the replacement process for *his* IDs.
As my BFF said, the important thing was that neither Ramon, myself, or the car were harmed. I agreed - after all, there is nothing I lost that cannot be replaced, even if the process may be the last word in bureaucracy. It may even be that I can live without some of the stuff I lost, which would be a good thing.
Anyway, gist of story below. Have had a busy day getting affidavits made and going through the process of restoring the two most important things: driver's license and mobile phone. Success on both fronts. Onwards to the next round!

In the meantime, life marches on; and rather pleasantly, at that. The speed at which I am replacing stuff is wondrous to behold.

Wishing you all pretty id pictures, hehe.

But it seemed much faster to go have it done in the afternoon. Definitely a lot cooler.

Ramon was quite the tower of strength through it all, holding me together till we got home. Then he allowed reaction to have its way.
The important stuff (driver's license, SIM cards, bank cards, Ramon's IDs) looks to be completely replaced within this week. *crosses fingers* It's the ATM cards I miss the most, I think, but the bank should have them for me by tomorrow.
In the meantime, it's pretty much life as normal. This is a good thing, always.
