Event of the Day: Kimchi kitten, the last of Pickles' first litter,
died today at the veterinary clinic. *heart breaks* That makes three at
the vet, one at home. Rushed to the clinic at six in the morning, but it
was too late to save him. Ramon is beside himself, his expression is
almost as woeful as Pickles'. Myself, I cried all the tears I could cry
when I realized that only a miracle would save Kimchi, and therefore
managed to hold myself together at the vet.
Needless to say, another bucket of tears was cried after I crawled into
bed to nurse a pounding headache - of *course* my cycle started while I
was still at the vet, thanks so very much...
BunBun looks completely miserable; as who would not, with a fever and
snot out of one's nose. *snif* mercifully, his mother Walker was a
beautiful as ever at the vet, her only symptom was that she wasn't
eating. So meds were prescribed, and administered as per vet's
instructions once we got everyone home.
As a form of stress relief, I finally tried out that new hair salon in
Santuario. I will have to save up for the next six months before I show
my face there again; the cut is pretty good, and the place is nice.
